2 Open Calls: On Creativity and Wellbeing – 1 for Artists and Makers & 1 for Researchers and Facilitators

For Artists/Makers

The first Open Call is for artists/makers; InnLyte is currently booking for Season 2 for short documentary films.

The second Open Call is for the InnLyte Creative Wellbeing Podcast, which will launch later this year. It is seeking researchers and facilitators to serve as guest speakers. They are “looking for unique reflections, evidence-based insights, and powerful stories on how the act of hands-on creative expression supports human flourishing.”

Season 4 of the International Feltmakers Association‘s podcast Felt Matters is drawing to a close. In it, hosts Vivienne Morpeth and Heather Potten discuss some highlights from Vivienne’s life as a feltmaker. They chat about her initial encounter with felting, the role of family and mentors, and the support and inspiration from the International Feltmakers Association. She stresses, too, the importance of teaching through experimentation. This has been particularly crucial in the development of her upcoming book, ‘Nuno Feltmaking | design, techniques and projects for the creative maker’, which she discusses here with her daughter, Raphaela.

Hosts Vivienne Morpeth and Heather Potten of the International Feltmakers Association’s (IFA) FeltMatters: The Podcast are back with the second episode of Season Two of the program. They speak with feltmaker Olga Exley about her felted slippers – it’s fascinating to take a deep dive into this specialised felting topic, where fibre types, shrinkage coefficients, and other tips are discussed!
