Freda holds a good stock of most of the breeds of Ireland & UK.  The Wool Initiative is working to demonstrate the unique qualities of the fleece from each breed and how these may be employed to create unique pieces. Some breeds will felt more successfully than others or may be used to add texture or as embellishments (eg. Wensleydale locks).
The website www.woolinitiative.com will give you an idea of the range of fleeces and the prices. Fleeces are supplied as raws, washed, washed and carded into batts and dyed.
