Fiona Leech, Sandra Reynolds, and other members of Sow’s Ear Collective will be vending at the Bayside Community Centre on Sunday, the 30th of November, from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Emily Thompson and over 100 other vendors will be vending at the Irish Pop Up Collective event. Emily will be there on Sunday, the 7th of December.

This Saturday, the 22nd of November, is Fibreshed Ireland’s Textile Market. Their symposium is on Friday.

Volunteers from Feltmakers Ireland will demonstrate felting with Irish-raised wool!

Local fibres and textiles from a selection of Fibreshed Ireland members will be available, including from two Feltmakers Ireland members –

  • Juliane Gorman of FeltHappiness will vend her Cyanotype-printed, Irish wool hats
  • Katarina Hruskova of WoolstoreIreland will vend locally raised wool that she has processed

Lucia Errity is exhibiting her needle felt art pieces at Art SourceDublin this weekend at stand J144.

Elaine Peden will be part of Moving Signatures, a unique intergenerational dance performance in response to the IMMA‘s Permanent Collection exhibition. Meeting point, main reception.

Christine Jordan will be vending felted cushions and rugs made from fibre from her sheep, and Leiko Uchiyama will be vending her felted wearables and art at the Ballymaloe Grainstore Holiday Craft Market, this Friday through Sunday.

Karen Bowden is amongst 50 makers and producers at the annual Christmas Craft Fair in King House, Boyle, County Roscommon.

Guild members Leiko Uchiyama and Emily A Thompson will each exhibit at the Ballymalloe Grainstore Craft Fair in County Cork. The event runs for two weekends: From the 15th through the 17th, and the 22 through the 24th of November. Leiko will be there the first week, and Emily will be there the second week.

Butler Gallery Craft Fair

This weekend, Feltmakers Ireland Guild member Emily Thompson is participating in the Butler Gallery‘s Craft Fair in Kilkenny, which showcases 30 Irish makers.

Butler Gallery will be filled with handmade, quality Irish craft from makers of ceramics, jewellery, and glass, as well as textiles, wood, metals, and precious metals, along with paper, leatherwork, and mixed media.

Event: Celebrating Handmade – Craft Market and Demonstrations – Enniskerry – Co Wicklow

The Wicklow Craft Foundation is holding a craft market this weekend featuring ceramics, glass, textiles, leather, wire sculptures, and bookmarking. Miriam Brady will be there with her felted artwork, and she and some of the other makers will demonstrate their craft.

Where: The Schoolhouse for Art, Enniskerry Village, Co Wicklow.
Date: Saturday and Sunday, 17th and 18th of August 2024
Time: 10 AM- 4:30 PM

This event is part of August Craft Month, a celebration of craft organised by the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland and Craft NI. August Craft Month is an all-Ireland event with over 400 activities.

Opportunity: Richmond Barracks Summer Fair

The Richmond Barracks Summer Fair has the theme of upcycling, recycling, and reusing.

The organisers are looking for seasonal-related stalls that showcase upcycled and recycled products made by businesses, artists, and craftspeople.

When: The fair is on Saturday, the 25th, and Sunday, the 26th, May 2024.

The closing date for applications is Monday, 22 April 2024.
