We had just about the best day ever when we visited the Rare Breeds Show in Gosford Park near Armagh today. We were invited by Freda from the “Wool Initiative” and were warmly welcomed by the Ulster Weavers & Spinners who we shared the marquee with. The Park was jam packed with the most beautiful sheep I have ever seem. Four members from the Fekltmakers Ireland committee went up and were joined  by Liz Nicholls and Maria Melvin who were a terrific help demonstrating feltmaking. The sheep breeders were fascinated to see the wool from their sheep being fashioned into some strange and  beautiful felt pieces.  The show was attended not just by sheep breeders but also poultry and cattle breeders.
