The Knitting and Stitching Show is coming to Belfast, Northern Ireland, from Thursday, the 7th, through Sunday, the 10th of November 2024.

Featuring the K&S shows’ winning combination of quality craft exhibitors, workshops, demonstrations and inspiring textile art galleries, their Belfast show is the perfect platform for visitors to shop, learn, and connect with fellow makers!

Similar to the K&S show formerly held in Dublin, this event will include cross stitch, embroidery, knitting & crochet, dressmaking, sewing, patchwork & quilting and everything in between! Yes, feltmaking!

Feltmakers Ireland will share a booth with our friends from the International Feltmakers Association and Feltmakers North. Come and see us spread the wonders of felting in Belfast!

Open Call: The Fine Art Textiles Award

The Fine Art Textiles Award (FATA) returns for its fifth year in 2023.

Organised by The Knitting & Stitching Show, The Festival of Quilts, and the Surface Design Association, FATA is an international juried exhibition open to all amateur and practising artists using textiles as their medium, and offering a prize of £5,000 for the winning piece.

The exhibition recognises the creative talents and skills of a broad community of high-calibre artist and celebrates textiles’ rightful place amongst high art.

The deadline is the 22nd of May, 2023.
