DSC_0185Good afternoon to you on this beautiful sunny day in Dublin. Sunday June 12th is our next monthly Sunday Session.  This month we will be looking at the amazing pieces produced at the recent Lyda Rump – Techniques Workshop.  They were very busy learning wonderful things to apply to any felt project.  It is always exciting to learn something specific from artists we admire!  Come join us for a few lovely hours.

10:30 am – 1:00 pm  –  Feltmakers Ireland Studio – Knockmaroon Gate.

Please be advised that the Knockmaroon Gate will be closed due to a race in the park.  There may also be closures at other gates as well.  Plan enough time.

Sunday Sessions are open to anyone – Member or Not.

€5.00 for the Tea, Coffee and snacks.

 

Workshops with Lyda Rump

We have two wonderful workshops coming up in April. Lyda Rump is joining us from the Netherlands to give a one day class teaching techniques, and a two day sculpture class, inspired by the sea. Lyda is a highly respected teacher with many years of experience. These classes are a great chance to advance your abilities, whether you are a beginner felt maker, or an experienced one.

The techniques class, Let Shapes Arise, is on Friday April 22 at The Visitors Centre of The Phoenix Park.

The Sea Sculptures class is on  Saturday & Sunday April 23 and 24 and takes place in the new St Andrew’s National School in Lucan. Application forms are available to download here.
