Here are the details of the upcoming Sunday Sessions.
10th of September Gabi McGrath will run the lampshade workshop that was postponed from June.
8th of October Holly Angle gives an embroidery demonstration that morning..
And finally, the Sunday Session for the 12th of November has been cancelled due to Knit and Stitch 2017
All repair works are now completed on the studio. So everything is good to go again.
First of all, we have Heritage Day at the studio on the 27th of August see the post below for further details.
On the 10th of September Gabi McGrath will run the lampshade workshop that was postponed from June.
The morning session will be open to all as usual. Places should be booked directly with Gabi should you want to attend the afternoon session.

A few places are still available for the Felt and Architecture workshop running from September 15-17. Please contact Ann Walsh, her details are on felt for architecture application.
And last but not least, we will be having Gladys Paulus doing a workshop with us in March 2018. Details to follow.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the upcoming Sunday session for June 11th is no longer taking place.
Likewise, the lamp workshop following the session is also postponed. Gabi McGrath will be in touch with those who signed up for the workshop to arrange a new date.

May 21st AGM and Tea Party
Feltmakers Ireland Annual General Meeting is taking place on the 21st of May. The meeting is located at St. Andrew’s Church, Lucan. The AGM runs from 2-5pm. This year’s theme is ‘The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’, so bring a hat and a cake and let’s have some fun! Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Details are as follows:
Gabi will do a demonstration at the Sunday Session from 10.30-1:00pm and then a workshop from 1.30-4.30 pm.
The workshop including materials will cost 35 euros per person. Participants attending the morning and afternoon session should bring packed lunch with them.
Tea and coffee will be provided.

1st August – Killruddery House and Gardens, in association with the Feltmakers Ireland guild, are hosting a feltmaking workshop in the beautiful Fruit Room Studio on the Killruddery estate on Saturday 1st August with Gabi McGrath. The workshop is suitable for all levels, even those new to the craft. The cost is €60, including basic the materials (extra can be purchased on the day). Come to learn a new skill in the wonderful surroundings Killruddery has to offer. You will go home with a beautiful 3-D vessel that you designed and made yourself. 8th August – Feltmakers Ireland, in association with the Killruddery House and Gardens, are hosting an eco-dyeing workshop in the beautiful Fruit Room Studio on the Killruddery estate with Misha Markova. Join in an adventure of making wonderful cloth and paper samples for a one day. The aim of the session is to extract colours from natural materials using a variety of eco dyeing and printing techniques. Suitable for dyeing novices as well as for those who want to improve their skills. The cost is €60, including basic materials (extra can be purchased on the day). We are hosting a workshop in our studio in the Phoenix Park on Saturday 28th March with Gabi McGrath. The workshop is suitable for beginners and costs €60 – you will go home with a beautiful bag that you designed and made yourself.
