The Feltmakers Ireland guild supports and encourages all feltmakers, whether you work in the medium of wet or needlefelting or a combination of both. We hold monthly Sunday Sessions, usually on the second Sunday. In addition, we have an annual ‘Basic & Beyond Class’, a Fine Felt Workshop, a multi-day workshop with an international tutor, and a yearly exhibition of members’ work. If you like, you can attend a ‘taster’ meeting before joining the Guild.
Individual membership in Feltmakers Ireland costs €25 a year. Membership is valid from January to December of each calendar year. As of the Dublin Fibre Festival in October, we are ‘rolling over’ folks who join now.
In 2024, we had over 100 members; this year, we have over 150. Thank you for joining us!
Membership Perks include the following:
- Being eligible to participate in our yearly exhibition, which typically takes place at the Phoenix Park Visitors’ Centre.
- Being eligible to participate in other members’ exhibitions. In 2025, we had a joint exhibition, ‘Common Threads’, with the Quilters’ Guild of Ireland at the National Design and Craft Gallery in Kilkenny.
- Priority registration for workshops with international tutors.
- Have your workshops listed on our Resources Page.
- Have your exhibitions, classes, and other news* shared on our blog and social media.

- New for 2025: Monthly Sunday Sessions in County Galway for those who want in-person meetups. See – https://feltmakersireland-west.com/
- Members attend Sunday Sessions for free. In 2025 and for the foreseeable future, we are waiving the 5 euro ‘Tea Fee’ for members.
- Being part of the welcoming Feltmakers Ireland community!
*We aim to be inclusive and share all members’ news. However, due to time constraints, we may be unable to share all events. We are an all-volunteer organisation.
Please send news of your exhibitions and events to feltmakersIE@gmail.com
Payment Information
In 2025, we switched to online payments: Membership payments can be made via Credit or Debit Card.
This is our preferred payment method. As an all-volunteer organisation, following up on cheques and bank transfers can be challenging.
The Guild is here to make the process easy and transparent, so you always have control over your subscription! Thank you for your help!
Click HERE to PAY via STRIPE.
{After paying, you should be taken to the Thank You page on our website. You may want to print THAT page, as it will contain a discount code for DHG wool suppliers.}
We thank you for your support and interest in promoting our craft.
We hope to see you at our monthly Sunday Sessions, which are typically on the second Sunday of the month. (Note: We do not have Sunday Sessions in July or August.)
Note: Feltmakers Ireland will not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
