As part of August Craft Month 2026, Feltmakers Ireland is delighted to host an Open Day in Inchicore, Co. Dublin. (We are also hosting another event on Saturday, the 15th in Boyle, Co. Roscommon โ please see the separate listing.)
Join us on Sunday, the 16th of August, for an introduction to the art of feltmaking. Participants can choose to create either a simple wet-felted flower or a needle-felted flower in one of our hands-on workshops.
Two workshop sessions will be available:
- Morning session: 10:00 AM โ 12:00 PM
- Afternoon session: 12:30 PM โ 2:30 PM
As we will be teaching groups of participants, workshops will begin promptly at the advertised times.
Book Here – link will take you to Stripe for secure checkout
A small booking fee of โฌ5 applies to help reduce no-shows.
Other Activities
In addition to the workshops, visitors can:
- View an exhibition showcasing the wonderful creative possibilities of feltmaking
- Browse and purchase handcrafted felted artworks made by Feltmakers Ireland members
- Explore a display of felted fibres from Irish-raised sheep
- Learn more about Irish wool through our publication, Exploring Irish Wool for Feltmaking, which will be available to view and purchase
All ages welcome!
