Dear Feltmakers Ireland Community,
As the festive season approaches, we wish you and all supporters of Feltmakers Ireland a joyful, peaceful, and safe Christmas with your loved ones. We hope the holidays bring moments of creativity—perhaps even a chance to make some felt!
While enjoying the season, take a moment to reflect on our upcoming group exhibition in March. The theme, ‘Symbols of Ireland’, is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent and vision. For more details on how to submit your work, visit our website here: https://feltmakersireland.com/exhibition-application-symbols-of-ireland-2025/
Looking ahead to the New Year, our first Sunday Session of 2025 promises to be an inspiring start! On Sunday, 12th January, guild member Leiko Uchiyama will guide us through creating a sample using her signature pine needle technique. A few Observer Spots are still available—email us at feltmakersIE@gmail.com to reserve yours.
Please note: This session is exclusively for Feltmakers Ireland members. If you haven’t renewed your annual membership yet, you can do so here: https://feltmakersireland.com/exhibition-application-symbols-of-ireland-2025/
We warmly welcome new members to join us! Additionally, we invite existing members to consider joining the committee, as one of our members has stepped down after serving for over three years. Email us at feltmakersIE@gmail.com
Wishing you a healthy, happy, and creative holiday season!
With warm regards,
The Committee of Feltmakers Ireland
PS: Unless there is breaking news that cannot be missed, we will take a short break over the holidays. We will return with daily blog posts and social media posts on the 2nd of January. So, in the meantime, Happy New Year & Happy Felting!!!
