There are two artist’s residencies in Ireland that have upcoming deadlines.
ArtLink
ArtLink artist residencies are open to professional visual artists working in any discipline, including but not limited to sculpture, photography, painting, installation, and video.
Artists in residence must be available for four weeks between March and December 2024. (This can be split into two or more visits.) During the residency, artists are expected to develop new work or ideas responding to the unique site and surrounding areas and engage with local artists and Artlink members. Resident artists are expected to actively create within the studio space for at least 20 hours a week and be willing to hold open studio hours with the public for at least one day a week. Public engagement could be through presenting artist talks, workshops, demonstrations or other events.
The studio is based at the Fort Dunree Military Museum, Buncrana, Co Donegal.
The deadline is the 31st of December.

Leitrim Sculpture Centre
Leitrim Sculpture Centre is awarding up to four Technical Development Residencies during 2024. These are awarded to artists wishing to explore new directions in their practice through experimental engagement with different materials, processes, and ideas using the technical facilities of the Centre. Significantly, the award is offered to artists without the pressure of them having to produce an exhibition or specific project outcome during or at the end of the period.
Up to two residencies will be provided to artists based in Leitrim, and at least two residencies will be offered to artists based elsewhere within Ireland, including artists from ethnic minority or migrant backgrounds.
The deadline is the 18th of December.
