Feltmakers Ireland is a national organisation founded in May 2003 in response to a growing interest in feltmaking. Feltmakers Ireland has received enthuastic support from a very energetic membership. Feltmakers Ireland provides workshops, exhibitions and information about feltmaking not only for members but for anyone interested in feltmaking. Four workshops are held every year and are open to anyone to attend. An exhibition of the work of members of Feltmakers Ireland is held every second year and is a showcase for the wealth of skills and talent from our membership.We produce a quarterly Magazine with news, reviews and information about Felt Making from around the world as well as the four corners of Ireland. Our Magazine (which is posted out to all members) is an invaluable resource with information about events and suppliers.Feltmakers Ireland is a member of the International Feltmakers Association and is affiliated to the Crafts Council of Ireland.The new committee members of Feltmakers Ireland for 2016/17 are: Elizabeth Bonnar ,Sheila Ahern ,  Gabi McGrath, Vicky Blomfield,   Clodagh MacDonagh,  Suzanne Phelan, Christine Maxwell, Misha Markova, Yvonne Sheils, Juliette Nash, Barbara Tidey and Ruth Feeley .     Where can my 11 daughter learn how to do felting. We live in dublin and she has a huge interest in it.
