We are expanding our Drop In days for the Autumn. In addition to our regular monthly Wednesday(Blanchardstown) and Sunday (Lucan) sessions we have added an extra day in The Fabric Gallery in Bray once a month. The sessions are open to all and people who are new to felt are very welcome. We ask that everyone would bring along a basic feltmaking kit with them (towel, soap, bubble wrap, small bamboo mat and any fibre they want to use). Every month there is a different topic and whenever space and time allows we would hope that everyone who attends will get a chance to make their own pieces. The topics and dates for the Autumn are:
- September – What is Wool? We will learn about the different types of wool fibre and rare breeds of sheep We will make samples to see how they felt
