We have just spent the last week in the company of German Feltmakers Annette Quentin-Stoll and her friend Sonja. They gave us two 2 day workshops. On Wednesday and Thursday the workshop taught the participants how to make points and folds and bumps into felt, firstly they experimented with making a child’s playmat, with all sorts of spikes, flaps and pockets. On the second day they made hats and bags incorporating the methods learnt on the previous day. At the week-end workshop participants made exotic felt creatures with horns, spikes, tentacles, feelers and shells. It was an inspirational few days and Annette and Sonja were so generous and patient with help and ideas. See the Gallery page for more pics
