On Sunday 11th July Clodagh MacDonagh gave a tutorial in dyeing for members of Feltmakers Ireland in our studio in the Phoenix Park. it was a lovely day so we set up the dye pots outside the studio where they could safely simmer away for the afternoon. Clodagh spent many years working with textiles and dyeing and was able to judge the exact shade of colour that could be achieved from combining just Blue, Yellow and Red (with the odd touch of Black). it was certainly a day we will repeat for any members interested in experimenting with colour.
